Musée du Petit-Palais Musée du Petit-Palais was once the Bishop's palace, and the first two Avignon popes resided here. There are numerous important art works from the Italian schools of the 13th to 16th centuries. Works from Lombardy, Venice, Florence, and Siena are all housed here, as are 15th century paintings that were done in Avignon.
